Preparation is where good flooring begins. We test the moisture content of screeds, level and repair the substrate and apply primers or membranes where the product requires them. Tiles are set with the correct adhesive, spacing and movement joints, and large areas are laid to a plan that keeps lines straight and cuts to a minimum. Vinyl and carpet are installed to the manufacturer's recommendations, hardwood is acclimatised before fixing, and epoxy is applied in controlled conditions with the right thickness and cure time. Protection is provided after laying, and defects are corrected at snagging. Joints, skirtings and transitions between different floor types are finished neatly, because these small details decide how a floor looks and lasts over time.
