Builders24 Construction Group builds concrete kerbs, drainage channels and gabion linings that guide water and protect road edges and embankments across Africa.

Builders24 Construction Group provides concrete kerbing, channelling and gabion linings for roads, estates, industrial sites and drainage corridors. Kerbs define the edge of the carriageway and guide stormwater to the drains, concrete channels carry water away from roads and buildings, and gabion linings protect embankments, culverts and river banks from erosion. These elements are small compared with the road itself, but they decide how water behaves, and water is what damages roads, platforms and structures. We construct them accurately so that falls, levels and alignments work as the design intends. We carry this work out on new roads, upgrades, subdivisions, industrial estates, culvert approaches and river banks, wherever water needs to be controlled.

Kerbs and channels are cast in situ with slip-form machines or formed and cast by hand where access is tight, and we also place precast units where the design calls for them. We set the line and level from survey control, compact the bedding, cast the concrete with the right joints and cure it properly. Gabion work is built by filling wire baskets with graded stone on a prepared base, tying them together and placing them in layers that follow the design profile. Where gabions line a channel or culvert, we protect the base with geotextile so fines are not washed out through the stone.

African roads and developments face intense rainfall, flash floods and rapid runoff, so drainage and erosion control are not optional extras. Builders24 Construction Group builds these elements as part of the same package as the road, platform or structure they protect, which keeps the programme simple and the responsibility clear. Our crews are experienced in working next to live traffic and in constrained urban corridors, and our supervisors check alignment and levels as the work progresses. Clients receive durable edge and drainage works that protect their investment and reduce the maintenance burden that poorly controlled water usually creates. Owners also benefit from lower repair costs, because eroded edges and blocked drains are avoided from the start.
Builders24 Construction Group also provides these services alongside concrete kerbing, channelling and gabion linings.
